    Root canals and Pulpotomies

    Root canals are done when a tooth’s pulp is fully infected with bacteria, and inflammation creates pain the the roots.  The procedure involves drilling in the tooth to remove the decay and nerve damage.  The tooth will remain hollow inside and a sealant added to prevent further infection. Pulpotomies is less extensive than root canal.
